As the storm grew stronger and stronger every hour, the howling wind outside seemed as if it were going to knock the house down at any moment. Even though the dark night prevented me from seeing the storm, I knew it was there. At the moment, the storm seemed to be the only thing at the forefront of my mind.

Sometimes the storms of life may be so loud, it’s the only thing we can seem to put our focus on, or maybe the waves of burdens or trials in life may be so high, we can’t seem to see anything else. One thing we must always remember though, is we should never fear the storm. No matter how loud it screams in your face, or how tall it stands before you, for Jesus Christ, Who is in You, is greater than the storm. He is far greater than anything in this world. Psalms 107 says, He stilled the storms to a whisper and waves of the sea are hushed.

When troubles may come, and at the time may seem like there is no hope around them, put Your Faith and Hope in God! He hears You even through the loudness of the storm. Your voice is not covered up by the wind! Drop the anchor and wait for the Lord, believe me, in even the darkest of days, He is with You. He is an anchor to the soul and He will not be shaken! Put Your Trust in the Lord! Keep your eyes on Jesus! He is greater than any storm! Put Your Trust in His Name! He forever satisfies!
